The perfectly curved chair-back is decorated with a desert scene, painstakingly laser-cut from 1/8 inch steel. The bare metal is treated by hand with a blow-torch resulting in a one-of-a-kind copper-like finish with delicate undertones reflecting every color of the rainbow. This unique rainbow torch finish is then clear coated to give the furniture piece an unlimited life, but allows the subtleties of the artists welds and the delicate swirls in the finished metal surface to show through. The seat is overstuffed and covered with a sturdy long-wearing tapestry fabric. Each of these heirloom quality art-pieces is made to order and takes approximately 2 weeks to complete.
